Per diem Egypt
The daily per diem rate for a foreign business trip to Egypt. Bands by hours spent abroad, with currency conversion.
Calculation by bands
- Up to 6 hours abroad: 10 EUR (25 %)
- Over 6 up to 12 hours: 20 EUR (50 %)
- Over 12 hours: 40 EUR (100 %)

Rate valid from: 01.01.2013
On a foreign trip to Egypt the employer may also grant pocket money (§ 14), voluntary, up to 40 % of the per diem granted for the day; it doesn't apply to days when the trip was interrupted.
